Damith Gangodawilage is an award-winning serial entrepreneur with over 20 year of experience in taxation and the financial management locally and internationally. He is the Founding Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of Taxperts Lanka Pvt. Ltd, a fin-tech company makes digital social impact to the taxation ecosystem in Sri Lanka. Apart from Taxperts, Damith is a Founder of Corporate Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd (A Corporate Advisory Firm) and Jt. Managing Partner of Assurance Partners (Chartered Accountants). Prior to take over the leadership of his own ventures, Damith worked as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at TATA Communications Lanka Ltd. And, as the Deputy Campus Director/Head of Academics at Edulink International Campus, Sri Lanka and Cambodia. As an award winning Practicing Academic, Damith present several papers in relation to tax compliance behavior at research conferences and the Journals locally and internationally.
Currently Damith engages with Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) as the Research Supervisor for Master Degree program. Damith is the Vice President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation, the National Body of Tax Professionals and a leading lecturer in taxation.
